Eddie met with Andy as he put the final touches together for the reception venue, a beautiful rustically decorated marquee on the fields of Duddon Sports Club, the views of the Lake District fells & the coast are just stunning from here. It was then on to get ready for the days celebrations with the boys. Klair began the day at the couples family home,  Lisa & Andy are one of the most talented couples I have ever met each detail from the couples flowers to the favours & the incredible welcome signs were all designed & made by the couple. The wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Mary’s Church, Dalton-in-Furness then on to the marquee. Guests were treated to fish & chips on their return. The evening do saw the marquee packed out with the couples friends & family enjoying the music delights of the couples favourite band.

Friday 3^rd August

Sara & Keith

Mr & Mrs Phizacklea

Sara was surrounded by the most important ladies in her life as she began the day at The Clarence House Hotel. It was lovely, Sara has the most wonderful eclectic vintage taste & her attention to detail was fantastic for the beautiful bouquets to her incredible shoes. The ceremony was an emotional one as guest witnessed Sara & Keith say their I do’s, there was a special guest at the wedding who made a big impression with everyone the couples beautiful little furbaby Lily. The couples beautiful cake took inspiration from Sara’s vintage eclectic theme it really was stunning.  There was such a lovely atmosphere as guests smiled & enjoyed each other’s company well into the evening.

Sharon & Lee both began the day at the couples wedding venue, the beautiful Abbey House Hotel. The ceremony was lovely as close friends & family joined the lovely couple to celebrate the joining together of such a fantastic couple. Everyone was kept well entertained with the couple’s little boy Jamerson who kept us all on our toes. The speeches were definitely one to remember as the best men had put together a special slide show of Lee’s mishaps over the years, there were tears of laughter from everyone! The evening do was fantastic as more of the couples friends & family arrived to join in celebrations.

Tammy & Wayne

Mr & Mrs Armstrong

We have been so lucky with the weather & venues this year, Tammy & Wayne`s wedding was no exception.  The bride & groom both chose to begin preparations at the wedding venue, North Lakes Hotel & Spar. The couple were both very relaxed & a little emotional on the morning of the special day. The ceremony was beautiful as guests were treated to a live acoustic welcoming by the best men. Following the ceremony guests relaxed in the beautiful grounds enjoying the sunshine. The speeches were full of laughs & the occasional tear then utter shock as it looked as though one of the waiting on staff were causing a scene however this was a surprise from the bride & groom as he was a ‘singing waiter’ & boy did he have the guests captured.  The first dance was beautiful, the new Mr & Mrs Armstrong partied well in to the night & what a blast they had.

Kev started the day with a visit to the Turkish Barbers for a quick shave & some TLC, it was quickly followed by a unplanned stop off at The Ink Spot for a new tattoo to celebrate the couples special day. It was a far more relaxed start with the girls getting ready at the couples family home Julia enjoyed a pampering  with her maid of honour & daughter before heading on to the Dunes to get in to her beautiful gown. It  was a beautiful ceremony as the couple were surrounded by those they care about most. The sun shone as the couple had some beautiful family photos taken to mark the occasion. The speeches were rather emotional as the best man retold tales from the past. Celebrations continued well in to the evening as more of the couples acquaintances­­ joined to celebrate their marriage.

Gillian & Alan

Gillian was met at her family home by a stunning horse drawn carriage & what a beautiful way to get to the ceremony at St. Mary’s, Barrow. Alan was looking very smart in his suit as he waited for his bride to arrive, surrounded by their family & friends the new Mr & Mrs Taylor exchanged emotional vows & their wedding rings. It was then off in the horse & carriage to Furness Abbey for some beautiful photographs of the happy couple. The reception was held at Michaelson House where the guests awaited the arrival of the bride & groom on the beautiful terraced gardens. The couple spent the day surrounded by their family & friends enjoying the beautiful day.

Every wedding is special, but when you have the honour of photographing a friends wedding, well…

Mark & the boys started the day just along the street from us so Eddie didn’t have far to go, it was a lovely relaxed morning as Gemma had made all of the necessary arrangements & organising for the boys. Gemma & the girls spent the evening before & the morning of the wedding at the lovely Chequers where everything had been perfectly planned & organised. The chapel was full as family & friends gathered to join in the celebrations. It certainly felt like the hottest day of the year as we all struggled to keep cool, thankfully we had our wedding umbrellas in the car to keep the couple sheltered from the sun. The evening do was fantastic as Marks close DJ friends took over the decks & kept the dance floor jumping until the early hours.

Laura & Jamie

Mr & Mrs Morrow

Laura & Jamie were married in Cyprus a few weeks prior to their UK celebrations & it looked incredible as guests were treated to a slide show throughout the evening. Guests were lucky to be entertained by the fantastic Kings in Canoes. I have to say Jamie & Laura know how to throw some fantasic shapes on the dance floor, it was packed with guests dancing until the small hours.

Donna & Ellis were married in an intimate ceremony at Abbey House Hotel, Ellis’s Mum & Auntie had mad a special trip all the way from their home in South Africa, their traditional outfits were incredible. We definitely made use of the beautiful grounds & summer sunshine as we took some beautiful personal shots of the new Mr & Mrs.
