Joanne & Dave both began preporations in separate suites at the beautiful Abbey House, Barrow-in-Furness. It was then on to the ever friendly & welcoming St. Georges Church where the couple were joined by there nearest & dearest. After the emotionl ceremony we returned to the Abbey house where the couple were greeted by local chimney sweep Brett McDermott. It was a real treat as we were treated to the sounds of Paul Sayer playing his Sax & Grand Piano. There was an electric atmosphere as guests partied well into the evening.

Lydia & Aaron

Mr & Mrs Hagan

Lydia was surrounded by her beautiful forever friends in the couples quaint & beautifully restored cottage, it was a very chilled out vintage affair, there were smiles, giggles & a lot of laughter on offer. Aaron and the lads began the day at his parent’s home where mum ensured they were immaculately presented & very well looked after. The couple were married in a beautiful ceremony at Aldingham Church. We made the most of the location & headed to the coast for some intermate shots of the beautiful bride & groom. The couple chose a very unique mode of transport for their special day, an immaculate and incredibly decorated John Deer tractor. It was then off to the reception which took place on Gleaston Village Green, to the magical Tipi. I have to say it was one of the most relaxed reception we have had the honour of capturing, with giggles continuing well into the evening. The guests were treated to a musical delight with the incredible Paper Cranes who also sang the couples first dance acoustically.

Elaine & Mike

Mr & Mrs Smith

These two are total diamonds, we are so lucky to have the honour of meeting the most incredible and loving couples, and Elaine & Mike are no exception to this. Elaine was so chilled while preparing for the day ahead and the ladies made me feel right at home, with poor Debbie nervous enough for all of the guests (Debbie you totally rocked at being a brilliant Maid of Honour). Eddie spent time with the boys were were a little nervous before the ceremony. The couple were married at St. George’s Church, Barrow-in-Furness where the lovely vicar Jo stuck around to perform the ceremony before the families re-location to Portsmouth. It was then on to the Abbey for some photos with Elaine & Mikes beautiful daughter Jasmine. The British Legion was the setting for the evenings shenanigans where there was never an empty dance floor.

Victoria & Chris

Mr & Mrs Chappell

What a super couple, Chris was totally unaware of the arrival of Eddie for the mornings preparations although the best man was informed, Chris was a true gent and just went with the flow. I have never met a more chilled out bride and a girl after my own heart after hair and make up at the families regular salon it was back home for bacon buttie number 1 of the day! The ceremony was held at the recently renovated Dunes Hotel (formally The Fairway Hotel) were the now a little nervous couple were surrounded by their nearest and dearest. One of the couples friends had arranged for the arrival of their prized tractor to be there as an excellent prop for the couples photographs. Victoria was most looking forward to her wedding breakfast of ‘a Saturday roast dinner’. The evening do was spectacular with Victoria’s hockey girls filling the dance floor, oh yes and bacon buttie number 2 of the day!

Katy & Scott

Mr & Mrs Duncanson

What a day!
Definitely one we will remember for some time. Katy began her special day at her childhood home surrounded by her close family and friends. Katy’s Auntie who once worked for Vivian Westwood not only designed but also made Katy’s bridal gown, it truly was a masterpiece. Scott ensured the couples little dude Toby thoroughly enjoyed his morning with car races and lots of smiles. The couple were married at the family church in Aldingham, Bardsea, where a very emotional service began. Katy & Scott made the most of the glorious weather heading down on to the beach for some beautiful intimate photos while the guests headed to the Malt Kiln, Bardsea, where family & friends had made a remarkable transformation of the venue the day before. Speeches were as emotional as the service with tears of joy & laughter throughout. Celebrations continued long into the evening.
